Actor, Singer, Chameleon of Emotions
About me!
Hi, I’m Fernando (yes, like the Abba song)! I’m a New York and Boston based actor, singer, and musician. A performer since a young age, my background initially was primarily in music- so how did I fall into this acting thing? When I was a sophomore in high school, I had a friend in my band class that would always say, “we should play the music from Phantom!” and I had no idea what that meant. I looked up Phantom, and came across the 2004 movie musical. My first reaction was, “huh, do they really just sing the entire time?” Young Fernando did not understand what a rock opera was yet. Upon further inspection (in other words- watching that 2011 pro-shot) of the musical, I became hooked. What followed was my stage debut as the Cowardly Lion in The Wizard of Oz. And now we’re here!
